Hello! My name is Heather McMinn and I am a native Arkansan from Helena, AR. Growing up I spent the summers with my Great Grandmothers flower shop, Bill’s Flower Shop in Benton AR. After my husband graduated from ASU we moved to Dallas where I earned my Texas Master Florist certification. The Texas Master Florist program is one of the most complete educational programs in the floral industry. It is divided into three segments: Design Production, Design Management and Master Florist Certification and is designed to benefit everyone from sales to designers to shop owners. The Texas Master Florist program provides a high level of professional excellence which is recognized throughout the industry. I also earned the title of FTD Master Florist. This is an elite program only available to members with "best-in-class" quality and service. The FTD Master Florist designation allows you to differentiate your shop by promoting your Master Florist status to fellow florists and consumers. To be eligible for the Master Florist designation, your shop must demonstrate a record of fulfilling and delivering your FTD orders in a timely manner and with a level of quality consistent with the FTD Quality Star program.
In 2000 my family moved back to Jonesboro and opened Heather’s Way Flowers and Plants in Jonesboro in 2007. My flower shop carried 100 plants on a regular basis, so my knowledge is extensive, and I am always wanting to learn more. I was Blessed to live my dream for 10 years and due to major health issues, I closed in 2018. But my dream never wavered, and God showed me a new way to make my soul sing! Plants, big and small, blooming and green I love them all! So, I’m going to work within my boundaries, plants and their care. I look forward to keeping your office plants happy and healthy to make your office beautiful and more inviting.
Who is Heather?
Weekly Plant Care
Includes watering, pest care, cleaning, fertilizing when needed. During hot months, more visits will be needed for outdoor containers.
(Initial visit will be a little longer then the weekly visit.)
Keeping your plants healthy provide a happier and healthier office and residential space. Plus, it brings attention to your office doors and windows and home.
My first visit will take a bit longer to evaluate the plants total health and to check for pests, root space and to clean them.
Care starts at $20 per 15 minutes.

Repotting and
Redesigning of containers
Just like kids, plants outgrow their pots. When that happens you could see the leaves turn yellow, it could droop fast, and a few other things. Alternatively, same could happen if the pot is too big for the plant roots.
This is why having a healthy environment is especially important. I will check this during my initial visit and let you know the plan to keep your plants healthy. As needed I can re-pot your plants in your own container that is the appropriate size or I can get one. Should I obtain one you will be charged the container, soil as needed at cost plus a 20% up charge.
Dish gardens, multiple plants in a container, can also be replaced with more size appropriate plants for the container and space.
Cost and supplies (usually just soil) plus 20%

Seasonal Rotation
Colorful plants in outdoor containers or pots inside bring attention and happiness to you and others. Green or blooming plants are available year round. I can keep help them at their best during their life with weekly maintenance.
Should you choose to have seasonal plants in or outside in decorative containers, we can discuss options perfect for your location, light and environment. You are welcome to get your own or I can get them for you. Should I get them for you, the charge would be at cost plus 50% and for the soil needed.
